SPOTLIGHT
Meet Jennifer Opal, an award-winning DevOps Engineer and Technical Writer. As a neurodivergent Congolese-British technologist, Jennifer champions diversity and inclusion in tech, bringing valuable perspectives shaped by her experiences with ADHD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia.
Jennifer has vast experience in Data Engineering, Test Automation, and Software Engineering. Jennifer currently works as a Technical Writer at Harness and has worked as a DevOps Engineer at Dropbox, and as a Data Engineer at BT Group.
She has collaborated with top organizations like Forbes, Bloomberg, and Google’s Women Techmakers. She is also part of Coding Black Females and serves on the board of Neurodiversity In Business, helping make tech more accessible for everyone.
Since starting her tech career in 2019, Jennifer has been named one of the Most Influential Women in Tech UK by Computer Weekly for four consecutive years. She's also a Tech Women 100 Award winner and a rising star in the industry.
