• Per Scholas offers tuition-free tech training programs across the U.S. and online. Their 13-15 week courses include IT Support, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, AWS re/Start, Salesforce Administrator, and Data Center Technician. The program includes professional development and career support. No prior tech experience is required to apply.

• Google Summer of Code (GSoC) is a program that pairs new open source contributors with mentoring organizations to work on real-world coding projects. Contributor applications open in March 2026. In the meantime, you can prepare:

  • For more in-depth preparation, read the Contributor Guide.

  • Review the program rules and FAQ to understand eligibility requirements and how the program works.

• RiseUp with ServiceNow is a skilling program designed to help people start or grow a tech career on the ServiceNow platform.
